Richard approached me to design his site from a mutual colleague, David Meadows, he wanted a clean website to show off his Directing skills. He came to me with some initial designs, I took these and developed them into what you now see.

The video was to take centre stage, everything else was superfluous, a means to an end – the video was the star, not the site. As a result, very conscious steps were taken to keep that throughout this small site.

The distressed plaster style background came from an idea to make the site look interesting and appealing while not distracting from the main content, which is obviously the video.
